As from 17th June Air Malta will start serving a new scheduled service to
Algeria
s capital,Algiers
. The Maltese National Airline will operate two weekly flights every Monday and Thursday and expects to carry 6,000 passengers this summer.
With a population exceeding 37 million and an economy based on oil resources,
Algeria is a country rich in history. It is the largest country in
Africa and is trying hard to regain its reputation as a tourist destination par excellence.
