American Airlines volume up 12pc to 197.2 million ton miles in 4 months

AMERICAN Airlines Group, the holding company for American Airlines Cargo and US Airways Cargo, has posted an increase in cargo volumes in April.

American Airlines Group's cargo ton miles (CTMs) amounted to 197.2 million, an increase of 12.9 per cent compared to the same month a year earlier.

Year-to-date CTMs stood at 757.3 million, up 12.2 per cent over the first four months of 2013.
