DHL Supply Chain has plans to invest 140 million (about US$180 million) in its business in

Southeast Asia by 2015.

The bulk of the investments will go towards investing in new facilities, advanced information technology solutions, expansion in transportation and bolstering staff strength and training in order to enhance DHL Supply Chains position across consumer, retail, automotive and technology industries, as well as emerging businesses.

The logistics company plans to double its size in the next two to three years, said Oscar de Bok, DHL Supply Chains CEO for South and Southeast Asia, in a written statement. DHL Supply Chain had already announced plans for expansion in Vietnam, among others.
